Hi, I'm Karen...

I believe that, providing I am not wasting your valuable time and money during sessions, it could be helpful for you to know a little about me before making an appointment.

Prior to becoming a qualified hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner and counsellor, I spent over 25 years in education and the NHS. I raised a beautiful family and have experienced first-hand many of the things clients come to see me for today such as stress and anxiety both at work and at home, I have overcome my own fear of flying and worked through periods when I suffered panic attacks and loss of confidence. I spent many years trying to find a way to overcome these problems because they had a negative impact on every part of my life, I was determined not to go down the drug route and eventually, after trying different types of therapies I came across hypnotherapy and it changed my life. I soon became confident, learned how to deal with my negative thoughts, and cope with situations in life that caused anxieties.

It seemed so simple that I didn’t believe it could last … but it has. I became so fascinated by the power and effectiveness of hypnotherapy that I decided I wanted to make it my career. After doing so, I felt that becoming a qualified counsellor was the natural next step. I am proud to say that I have been able to help myself and others make the move forward in improving their lives due to hypnotherapy and counselling. All treatments I offer are tailored to the individual as we are all different so not one size fits all.

I am a member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists, and I am fully insured.​

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy.
